All content published on PetsYarn—including written crochet patterns, stitch tutorials, guides, sizing charts, photographs, diagrams, and graphic assets—is the copyrighted intellectual property of PetsYarn unless otherwise stated.

  • Personal Use License: Our free online crochet patterns and digital PDF patterns are licensed for personal, non-commercial crafting use only. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, redistribute, translate, or republish our pattern instructions or PDF files in whole or in part without express written permission from PetsYarn.
  • Permission to Sell Finished Items: You are warmly welcome to sell physical, finished handmade items that you personally crochet using our patterns in small handmade batches (e.g., at local craft fairs, charity events, or handmade shops). We kindly ask that you credit PetsYarn as the pattern designer (e.g., “Pattern by PetsYarn — petsyarn.com”).

3. Digital Purchases & Etsy Orders

Our premium printable PDF pattern editions are sold and delivered through our official shop on Etsy (https://www.etsy.com/shop/PetsYarn). All orders, payments, digital downloads, and refund inquiries for Etsy purchases are processed according to Etsy’s Terms of Use and Buyer Protection policies. If you encounter any technical difficulty accessing a purchased file, please contact us at contact@petsyarn.com and we will assist you.

4. Craft & Pet Supervision Disclaimer (Important)

Informational & Crafting Purposes Only: All patterns, tutorials, sizing charts, material recommendations, and instructions on PetsYarn.com are provided strictly for recreational, crafting, and informational purposes. PetsYarn does NOT provide veterinary advice, animal healthcare advice, or professional pet behavioral services.

Pet Owner & Maker Responsibility: Every animal is unique with individual temperament, chewing strength, play habits, and physical sensitivities. The pet owner, maker, and handler are solely and exclusively responsible for determining whether any handmade crochet item, pet sweater, hat, collar, toy, or bed is suitable, safe, and comfortable for their specific pet.

  • Never leave any pet unattended with handmade crochet items, toys, or wearable accessories.
  • Always supervise your pets during play or wear.
  • Routinely inspect handmade items for loose yarn strands, pulled loops, or wear and tear. Immediately remove, repair, or discard any damaged item to prevent accidental swallowing or tangling.
